Over 30 years in residential and light commercial building as a journeyman tradesman and contractor, remodels and new homes to 20,000 square feet.
I held a B-1 General Contractor's license in California.
Three-year member of the Nederland Board of Zoning Adjustments.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Radon Measurement Service Provider- certified through the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) in order to offer Radon testing.
Log Home Inspection- Log homes age differently from conventional homes. My first-hand building and inspection experience, extensive research and sophosticated equipment make me uniquely qualified to inspect log homes.
Straw Bale Home Inspection- I'm one of the few Home Inspectors in the U.S. qualified to inspect these unique structures.
Earthen Home Inspection familiar with building techniques and aging charecteristics of adobe and rammed earth structures.
Resistograph: as the only Home Inspector in the U.S. with a Resistograph, I can provide physical documentation of internal wood decay in logs and other wood structural members.
Green Point Professional: I carry this designation awarded by the city of Boulder to professionals completing their green building course.
Historic Structures: In addition to direct experience with and extensive research into evaluating Historic Structures, I have completed Colorado State University courses in evaluating Historic Structures.
Tax Credit Information and consultation on approaches to take toward work on historic homes, such as decisions on whether to pursue Preservation, Rehabilitation, Restoration or Reconstruction.
